Our slogan “Born from the ashes of of a dying cult” refers to my former band (Old). For us, Monumentor is not only a project but a real band with a real future. We are planning to release an album sooner or later. The core of our line up consists of Zarko on drums and me playing guitar and singing. When we play live we may or may not add an extra (session) bass player. Sometimes, however, it's only us two on stage (like the last three gigs we did). Stylistically, Monumetor pays tribute to 1980's Metal. Bands like Celtic Frost, Hellhammer, Venom, Sodom, Razor or Bulldozer were a big influence on us. Lyrically, we do prefer do write about ancient myths. Full-blown Satanism is not our thing! Woody of Monumentor
