MESSIAH is characterized by band dissolutions and reunions in the past 34 years. The reunion in 1990 was for me the most important new start to date. A completely new line-up with new musicians and new possibilities. The Death-Metal wave of that time had long since passed its peak. Independently of this, we created the new "MESSIAH-WORLD" with PSYCHOMORPHIA for our then unknown future, which led to the "NOISE albums" CHOIR OF HORRORS and ROTTEN PERSH. Still influenced by experimental elements from simple analog synthesizer effects from the EXTREME COLD WEATHER time, I composed atmospheric intros and outros for PSYCHOMORPHIA. How the new songs sounded in the beginning is included on this CD as the first own product. The following official demo PSCHOMORPHIA was produced by us in the professional Swiss studio EBONY REC. in Wohlen (Switzerland). This is included in the original version on this CD. The demo had a print run of 700 tapes. Later the recordings during the CHOIR OF HORRORS studio production were provided with new guitars and new mastering and released as a mini album in the run-up to CHOIR OF HORRORS under Noise. This time is also marked by changes in the musicians on drums and the 2nd guitar. The recordings on this CD are once again only a document of the times and show the origin of PSYCHOMORPHIA. RB.
